‘The Smiling Bride’ is on De Dannan’s album ‘Ballroom’. Rob and Nancy both feel as though they’ve known ‘Drummond Castle’ forever. It’s a popular dance tune on both sides of the England/Scotland border. ‘Holly’s Jig’ is the third in a
series of tunes composed by James for the delightful children of Jeremy and Melissa Spinks-Walsh, from Sydney. Holly, born in 2006, was a very bouncy baby from the get go. The tune was written on the porch at the Minter family farm near Gloucester, NSW, looking out over the gorgeous river valley on a summer night.
